News about Shakira's English language album (August 29th, 2001):

Many Shakira websites have been posting information about
Shakira's new English language album regarding the release date.
Many of these sites claim that her album will be released
on September 11th. They also claim that the new album
will feature 14 songs, 10 of which will be in English
and the remaining 4 in Spanish. These claims are unfounded
and not from a credible and reliable source. I was recently
given reliable information by someone who works at a record store
and was given information regarding the album by the company.
The record store company claims that the new album will be
released on November 6th, 2001. The album, entitle "Laundry Service",
will have a total of 15 songs, 11 of which will be brand new
songs recorded in English,3 old songs that have been translated
into English, and finally 1 Spanish language song. The first
single "Whenever, Wherever" (titled "Suerte" in Spanish)
is already playing on some radio stations.
